Her post-impressionist figuration espouses mannerism as well as symbolism. Through her creation, she wants to materialize the characters who inhabit her and sublimate the words, even the deep impression left by certain texts.

As for his abstract compositions, they transport us on a path coveted by many, that of introspection, hence the importance of treating his creation differently from other creators. For the artist, freeing himself from realistic references, manipulating his lines and his colors, constitute in themselves a visual language and become the center of his creation.

According to the artist, painting is above all a great adventure of communication and creation. Perfecting the language of the visual arts through the interpretation of one's perceptions is undoubtedly an invitation to research. I expect my artistic practice to question the observer. My objectives are to create, to constantly deepen my pictorial research, to build a work and to impose my approach.

AN INTERNATIONAL REPUTATION

For more than thirty-five years, Martine Tremblay has participated in several group exhibitions and numerous symposiums, where she has accumulated mentions and prizes. In 2008 two of her works were selected by the National Society of Fine Arts of France for the exhibition at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, she was part of the delegation of Canadian artists. She exhibited again in France in the Alpes Maritimes in 2012. In 2015, Italy was the host of her performances. We find his works in various galleries in Quebec, Ontario, Saskatchewan as well as in public and private collections.
